Holiday Travel Tip #4: Bring Your Own Blanket


If you're traveling and concerned about the germs aboard the aircrafts, consider BRINGING YOUR OWN AIRPLANE BLANKET and pillow along with you. Here's why:

Believe it or not, there are no federal guidelines for washing airplane pillows or blankets. Some airlines say they "clean them as needed" (hardly good enough for me!) So if you're trying to stay "germ free," avoid putting the blanket and pillow near your nose and mouth. If you're especially nervous, bring your own blanket and pillow.
